I earned my master’s degree in social work from Indiana University in 2014. I have over 10 years of professional experience working in behavioral healthcare including inpatient and outpatient treatment. I have aided individuals in coping with symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief/loss, stress, phase of life changes, and trauma.
I am interested in enhancing each person’s unique skills to better function in the world and navigate life’s challenges. Often, past pain can influence how we manage stress. It is important to process the emotional distress associated with this pain and explore a path for healing. I utilize modalities such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and internal family systems (IFS) to aid in the therapy process. My goal is to offer a warm and compassionate environment for self-discovery and growth.
